Tachyon / Information

Privacy notice

Information about browsing the portfolio and contacting the studio. The contact form prepares an email draft; it does not send a message to us automatically.

Last updated: 9 September 2026

1. Who is responsible

The Georgian company operating Tachyon is responsible for the personal data it handles in connection with this portfolio and inquiries. Registered company: Pending — to be completed before publication.

See the company information. Contact for privacy requests: contact@tachyonstudio.net.

2. Information involved

  • Browsing: serving a page requires technical information such as an IP address and requested resources. The final hosting provider and its logging arrangements are still being confirmed.
  • Email draft: the name, email address, message, and optional company/project details you enter are held in the page’s temporary state. This app does not upload those fields or save them in cookies or browser storage. Preparing a draft does not send it. Opening it passes the contents to your chosen email application; that application may save or synchronise drafts under its own settings.
  • Sent inquiries: when you send an email, the studio receives the message, sender details, and any attachments. Correspondence is handled in Gmail, not in a website database.
  • Discord: if you choose to join or contact us there, Discord processes account and usage information. Studio members with access to the relevant channel can see what you post. Other participants may also see public-channel posts.
  • Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, country, device type and page-load times in aggregate. It sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, and is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.
  • Preferences: the site can remember an animation setting you choose. See Cookies & preferences.

Contacting us is optional. The draft helper requires a name, email, and message to prepare a usable inquiry; company and production details are optional. You can email us directly instead. Without a way to contact you or enough detail, we may be unable to respond meaningfully.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Job and freelance applications sent by email are used only to assess a possible collaboration and to reply to you.

Inquiries are used to respond to your request, discuss scope and availability, prepare a proposal, and maintain the related correspondence. Steps you request toward a contract with you may rely on the pre-contractual ground. General questions, communications with business representatives, and proportionate website security may rely on legitimate interests, subject to the applicable balancing requirements. Legal obligations may require certain records to be retained.

The applicable grounds and safeguards must be recorded for the actual processing before launch. Sending an inquiry is not consent to marketing. This site has no newsletter signup, advertising analytics, profiling, or automated decisions about visitors.

4. Providers, recipients, and international transfers

Asset and artist-tool links take you to Fab or Superhive. Their checkout and account services are external to this website; this website does not collect payment details or embed their checkout. Review the marketplace’s privacy notice when you visit. Product artwork on this website is served locally, without connecting your browser to the marketplace.

Relevant recipients may include authorised studio members handling your inquiry, the email provider, hosting/security providers, and professional advisers or authorities where justified by an applicable obligation or legal claim. This is not a blanket permission to share correspondence.

Gmail is provided by Google; Discord is an optional external support platform. Their processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy (new tab) and Discord Privacy Policy (new tab). These links do not replace the studio’s own responsibilities.

Hosting provider
Website: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Email (contact@tachyonstudio.net) and domain registration: IONOS.
Hosting and processing locations
The website is delivered from Cloudflare’s global network, from the data centre nearest each visitor, which may be inside or outside the EU/EEA. Email is handled by IONOS’s EU mail service.
International transfers and safeguards
Pending — to be completed before publication.

Google, Discord, remote team access, or future hosting may involve processing outside Georgia or the EEA. The actual recipients, applicable agreements, countries, and lawful safeguards must be confirmed before publication. No claim of EU-only or Georgia-only storage is made.

5. Retention

Drafts entered into this app are not retained by the studio unless you send them. Your email application, browser restoration features, and sent mailbox can retain separate copies.

Inquiry and support correspondence
Pending — to be completed before publication.
Hosting/security logs and their retention
Pending — to be completed before publication.

Before launch, the studio must adopt and implement retention rules tied to the inquiry’s purpose, active projects, applicable recordkeeping duties, and necessary legal claims, including deletion and backup handling. Those rules must not permit indefinite retention merely because storage is available.

6. Your rights and complaints

Depending on the applicable law and processing, you may request information and access, correction, deletion, restriction or blocking, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. Rights may have legal conditions or exceptions.

Send requests to contact@tachyonstudio.net. Describe the request and the relevant contact or correspondence; do not send identity documents unless necessary verification is specifically requested. Requests must be handled within the applicable legal deadlines.

You may complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia or use other remedies available under Georgian law. Where GDPR applies, you may also complain to a competent EEA supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a right to complain.

Because the studio plans to target EU/EEA clients, the application of GDPR, any EU establishment or representative, and relevant contact details must be assessed and completed before launch.

7. Scope and updates

This notice concerns the portfolio and inquiries, not a future online shop or newsletter. Before adding direct sales, tracking, embedded third-party media, uploads, or new providers, the processing and notices must be reviewed. Updated notices will carry a revised date.
