What it does.

Send for texturing
Meshes travel as FBX, with project resolution, normal convention and UV workflow set from Blender.
Update the mesh
After a mesh edit, send again and Painter reloads the geometry, reprojecting the layers you already painted.
Textures back as materials
Get Textures exports PBR maps and builds or updates Principled materials, matched to Blender by texture-set name.
Bake in Painter
Send low meshes with their _high and optional _cage partners for Painter to bake, or bring in maps baked elsewhere.
Before you buy.
- Windows only · Blender 3.3–5.2.
- Your own licensed Substance 3D Painter, not included; the full baking workflow needs Painter 8.2 or newer.
- Meshes transfer as FBX; Blender procedural shader graphs don’t carry over.
